Peter E. Caldwell, DPM
Board-Certified Podiatrist
Dr. Peter E. Caldwell was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a graduate of Washington High School and Simpson College before attending the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed a residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.
Dr. Caldwell is a third generation podiatrist and has been practicing in Cedar Rapids since 1997. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Caldwell is a member of the medical and surgical staff at St. Luke's and Mercy Hospitals. In addition he is affiliated with The Surgery Center of Cedar Rapids and staffs the St. Luke's Wound Care Center.
Robert M. Caldwell, DPM (Retired)
Board-Certified Podiatrist
Dr. Robert M. Caldwell was born and raised in Cedar Rapids. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He attended Simpson College and graduated from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed a residency in foot and ankle surgery at Woodward General Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and has been practicing podiatry in Cedar Rapids since 1970.
Dr. Caldwell is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon. He is a diplomate of the American College of Podiatric Surgeons and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He is an active member of the Surgical and Medical staffs of St. Luke's and Mercy Hospitals, as well as, The Outpatient Surgery Center of Cedar Rapids.
Dr. Caldwell has been an active lecturer both on the local and national level. He is past president of the Iowa Podiatry Society. Dr. Caldwell has been active in community affairs and has served as the president of both the boards of the Indian Creek Nature Center as well as Four Oaks. He presently is serving as president of the Four Oaks Foundation.
